What type of picks do you find give you the most wins?
How many games should you be picking?
Player pts, assists/rebounds, over/unders any luck?
What sport tends to pay the best & why?
Hints to win more then lose?

Just tired of playing the board and getting 7/8 or 4/5 on my tickets. I should be hired on with Vegas I just got by stat's most cases sometimes hype and home spreads, just looking to see how other people decide how they spend their hard earned $?

2-4 picks and spend however much you want,,,

anything over 4 picks is hard as hell to hit,,,,ask anyone who plays regularly

also heres some things ive noticed,,,im no expert but i win every now and then

--check to see which teams are playing with rest and which teams played the night before,,,,nothing better than fresh legs

--home team in NBA is way more important than in the NHL

--starting to notice that most NBA teams can cover anything over +11,,,,unless u think its gonna be a blowout take the underdog (like the raps/heat last night)

--when a crap team is playing a good team be cafeful,,,the crap team will sometimes step up to the competition (see leafs/pens last night,,,,,or heat/raps) and at the same time when a crap team beats a great team look for a letdown the next game (see tonight,,,leafs might blow it vs the islanders)

--if u think an NHL team is gonna win check to see if there is also a player match-up in the same game,,,like tonight i have the blackhawks to win so i took Kane

also i find the NBA O/U extremely easy some nights,,,

pay attention to scores and which teams are shooting well and what not

like when Indy and Memphis play usually the game will be defensive no matter who the opponent

meanwhile when denver plays at home or houston plays u usually know both teams will push 100

a great example is the New Orleans team,,,,they have been scoring 100+ the past few games and the lines on their games are still in the 190-195 range, while earlier in the year they barely ever scored 100 points

Thank you,

I have been paying attention to that. I find 2-4 gives me the most wins so far but not as nearly as a good payout. Then again when your losing on a 6-8 ticket you lose.

I really liked chi - boozer last night but chi couldn't pull it off & player picks I am usually 80% on because I go by last 10 games, hot or not and avrg of both. Tonight I really like Orlando (they need a win) they are at home and Afflalo +4 in pts over last 10 games so almost like BH & Kane.

What about over & unders...Also is spread a huge deal? I find spread's are a make it or break it!

thats why the line is stayin around 190-195 because they have a low average on the season but lately i notice they have been putting up 100+

im not a huge spread guy cause usually i play underdogs on stadium bets or just take the VTH line

hockey spreads suck cause half the time ur betting on an empty net goal happening or not happening

betting 2 games u almost need to bet over 15$ to get a decent payout

if i get 1st 2nd or 3rd in the contest this month im gonna do a couple ten or twenty dollar bets on 2-3 games

4 games i only would bet 2-5 personally,,,,could bet more but no point in losing more than 5 bucks on a 4-gamer

ill prob never play over 6 picks again and if i do 6 they will prob be big odds and combo'd so that if i hit i win big

everytime u add a game ur odds of winning drop significantly

I usually stick to the 2-6$ depending on the payout.
I will 10-15$ on a 1-2 just have got bad beats a few times with that and hate losing haha.

This competition, I bet on anything but usually put my own $ on games I like & I only started yesterday on site usually I did Lawtons gave me airmiles. But I am ranked 17th in NB for 1 day of betting. Hopefully tomorrow that will increase & I will be fighting you for 1-3rd ranking ;) Congrats though have you won in the past?

I love spreads 3.5 in NBA/College - Pay's you & almost always happens it seems.
People need to be more confident in player picks in my opinion they pay well & stat's wise almost the smartest in most cases.

I most of the time stay between 2-5 dollars.
I have been staying away from moneyline lately because of ties. I love picking player because I can watch the game and not care about the outcome as long as my player scores or rebounds. I find picking player easier because you can look up the type of defence the other team plays and the defender that would be guarding him.

So who do you got tonight?
Cousins has been 100% for wins for me this year. I have certain players I choose over others just like teams. La Lakers/Bucks have screwed me countless times so I stay away. Faried on boards likes to heat up or do nothing so I stay away from him. What about you?

I think playing 3 - 4 games is the best way to go regardless the payout, its very hard to hit more than 4 games.  I find if you go 1 game , 1 over/under , couple props is the way to go.  I also try to look for an advantage when betting, if a player is out, if a team is good at home etc. I dont neccessarily bet on the best team, I look for the edge in betting. Sometimes betting the better team doesnt work, you have to do your research or "prolining".  Last thing I try to do is stay away from "coin flip" games, which is 2 good teams against each other. Never play those games, there is a reason a team is paying 2.00 and the opponent is 2.40. Its a toss up and can go either way... look for the teams paying 1.50 - 1.90.

I win on 2-4 tickets a week betting on stadium bets, alot easier to make the chooses as its a one point spread. I usually go with a 3-6 picks a ticket; i like picking 2 definite wins in games and build the rest of my ticket on player match ups. When im checking my player matchups as well i chec injurys and how those players have been playing over the past 5-10 games.

But, $5 stadium bet 3-6 pick a ticket and you should do fine if you actually look into the match ups as well

Last night my only ticket I won was based on stats NHL
I won on a 4 game ticket all my others were 6-8 picks and 1 or 2 off and my guarantee all night long was beat.

I am looking forward to tonight 50% right now sense I have been on the site. I enjoy the NBA games tonight & player props I will eat up.

Those who want some idea's on players in nba tonight; In last 10 games

Boards;
+4 Okafor
+3 Monroe
+3 Tr Thompson
+2 Noah
Assists;
Curry +3
Pts;
Dero. Williams +6
Joe J +3
Boozer +3

Curry + Dero.Williams I would throw $25.00 on easy tonight. However I will be placing them on a fore-sure ticket 6 picks 2 NBA 2 NHL & 2 Player prop!

Under/Over screwed me on one of my tickets last night I should have taken Knicks on spread which was one of my guarantee's.

Exactly I go by last 10 games in most cases for player props.

Curry + Williams are my favorite two tonight. A lot of good paying upsets tonight too for NBA so I am kind of excited to drop some toonies down.

What's people's thoughts on tonight?

its almost 9pm as im reading this post but i wanted to chime in with this little nugget...

i usually look to the trends cormier....for guidance....espec when it comes to the spreads...

so for tonight, i like...

spurs to cover tonight (vs mavs).....heres why...

Spurs are 8-1 ATS in the last 9 meetings.
  • Spurs are 4-1 ATS in the last 5 meetings in Dallas.

now tomorrow, we can check to see if i was right or not....good luck guys!
