OFFICIAL RULES AND REGULATIONS
Please read these Official Rules in their entirety before entering Atlantic Lottery’s PRO•LINE Stadium Consensus Picks Contests. You are not eligible to enter a Contest unless you agree to these Official Rules. Participation in a Contest constitutes full and unconditional agreement and acceptance of these Official Rules, which are final on all matters relating to these Contests.
ProlineStadium Consensus Picks Contests (herein referred to as “Contests”) are open to Guest and Member account holders of www.ALC.ca, subject to individual provincial restrictions. Criteria for opening Guest and Member accounts at www.ALC.ca are available here.
There is no fee to enter a Contest. A Guest and Member account holder of www.ALC.ca must provide valid personal information in order to qualify for registration for the Contest.
Contests will be offered at the sole discretion of the Atlantic Lottery. The Contest Period will be stated on the Consensus Picks main page on ProlineStadium. Picks will be accepted into whatever Contest is currently running; no backdating or future dating is permitted.
Atlantic Lottery (ALC) will publish a number of events available for a Contest. Events are matchups available on PRO•LINE and other PRO•LINE games as determined by ALC in its discretion. To enter a contest, submit a Pick, which is the selection of one of the outcomes for a bet type on an Event. Participants may make as many Picks as there are Events and bet types available. Once a Pick has been received by the system its result will be used for the final calculation of points to determine the Potential Winner of the Contest. For example, three (3) Picks can be made for the Toronto versus Montreal hockey game (the Event); one on MONEY LINE (one pick between visitor, home or tie), one Pick on TOTALS (either Over or Under) and one Pick on SPREADS (either visitor or home) and Participants may submit one (1) Pick for every one (1) bet type offered on every hockey game offered during the Contest Period. Picks not received by the system will not be corrected or entered by ALC during or after the completion of the Contest Period; participants may however, re-submit the Pick provided the event is still available and the Contest Period is still open until it is accepted by the system. Picks cannot be changed or altered once they have been accepted by the system.
Participants may submit a Pick via two methods:
- By selecting “yes” to the question “Would you like to include your selections in our consensus contest?” on a Wager Success Page following submission of a PRO•LINE wager,
- By directly entering picks on the Make Picks page of ProlineStadium (via the Consensus Picks main page) and clicking “Submit”; no purchase necessary.
Exact prizing is at the sole discretion of Atlantic Lottery and may include Tokens, merchandise, or other items deemed suitable by the ALC. No substitutions or alternative prizing available. Prizes must be accepted as awarded; a prize may not be transferred. ALC reserves the right to substitute any prize based on availability for a prize of equal or greater value. Redemption of Tokens requires a Member account; in the event that a Participant does not have this type of account one will need to be opened or the prize will be forfeited. Exact prizing for each contest will be available on the Consensus Picks main page on ProlineStadium.
Upon completion of a Contest Period, the Prize will be awarded to the qualified Participant who has accumulated the highest number of Points over the duration of the Contest Period. Points will be accumulated in the following manner:
Correct Picks: For each correct Pick an amount equal to the published odd at the time the Pick was received by the system will be accumulated. For example a Participant submits a MONEYLINE Pick with an odds value of 3.70, two days later the odd for the same Selection is reduced to 3.65; the Participant would receive 3.70 points, if the Pick was correct.
Incorrect Picks: An incorrect Pick results in a points decrease of 1.5.
Based on the above scoring method, the Official Calculation of Participant points will be completed at the end of the Contest Period, or a soon as possible thereafter. In the event of a discrepancy between the leaderboards posted on ProlineStadium and the Official Calculation, the latter shall prevail. The Potential Winner will be notified via email within a reasonable proximity of when the Official Calculation takes place.
Ties arise when more than one qualified Participant has accumulated the same number of Points and are eligible for a prize; a four (4) step process will be enacted to determine a potential Winner. Only those qualified Participants who are still tied following the result of each step will move onto subsequent steps.
- Win Percentage - Highest win percentage will be calculated by dividing each tied, qualified Participant’s total number of winning Picks by their the total number of Picks. The qualified Participant with the highest win percentage shall be deemed the potential Winner.
- Most Wins – If the calculation outlined above under (item #1) does not break the Tie, the qualified Participant with the highest number of wins will be deemed the potential Winner.
- Most Picks – If the calculations outlined above (items # 1 & 2) does not break the Tie, the qualified Participant with the highest number of Picks will be deemed the potential Winner.
- Random Draw – If none of the above evaluations determine a sole, potential Winner then all remaining tied Participants will be entered into a random draw and the first Participant drawn will be deemed the potential Winner.
- GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS
To enter and to be eligible to win, Participants must be legal residents of Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, Prince Edward Island or Newfoundland & Labrador. Participants must be 19 years of age or older at the time of participation. ALC employees and persons domiciled with an ALC employee are ineligible to enter.
Soon after the completion of a Contest Period the Official Calculation of Points will take place at the offices of the ALC, from all eligible Picks registered during a Contest Period. ALC will attempt to contact the potential Winner by email within one (1) business day after the final calculation or a reasonable time period thereafter. If ALC does not receive a response from the potential Winner after ten (10) business days, ALC shall have the right to disqualify the potential Winner and move to the Participant with the next highest number of points accumulated during the Contest Period as an alternate Winner; in the event of a Tie between two (2) Qualified Participants move to the other Qualified Participant and in the event of a tie between more than two (2) Qualified Participants repeat the four (4) step process outlined above to arrive at a potential Winner. ALC shall be fully and completely released and discharged from any liability or responsibility in this regard.
Picks will be deemed to be submitted by the Participant in whose name the e-mail account is registered. Proof of identification must be provided upon request and match the current registration information on www.ALC.ca. The Participant's information, including age and residence, will be verified if the Participant is declared a winner of the prizes.
