MLB Betting Cheat Sheet: Friday's baseball games

Here are some quick-hitting betting notes for Friday's Major League Baseball games, including a game in Phoenix with the Arizona Diamondbacks hosting the Washington Nationals.

New York Mets at Philadelphia Phillies (-0.5; 8.5)

Hot pitching stat: Phillies right hander Jake Arrieta allowed one earned run on two hits through six innings in his last start.

Cold batting stat: Mets catcher Devin Mesoraco is 1-10 with three strikeouts lifetime against Arrieta.
